How faith helped me cope with my breast cancer diagnosis
I didn’t know how to cope with having breast cancer.
Our mission is to empower women of color affected by breast cancer to make the rest of their lives the best of their lives through education, advocacy and community.
I didn’t know how to cope with having breast cancer.
I know all our stories are different and I want other women to know to what it’s like when finding out you’re stage IV right out the gate. If I knew back then what I know today things could had been different.
I’ve learned through all of this I’m a lot stronger and resilient than I ever thought I could be.
I am a miracle! Despite what it looks like – if I can make it, you can make it! Find what gives you hope.
I know cancer comes in to steal your peace and joy, while turning your world upside down, but let me tell you, it changed my life.
I know that tomorrow is not promised, so I make it my business to live each day like it’s my last.

I really think it’s important to have people by your side, it helps you to get through. You know you have people out there that are fighting with you.
Just because I had cancer, doesn’t mean cancer had me!
